PROFESSIONAL GOAL

To pursue a doctoral degree in ecology to improve my understanding in how ectotherms interact with their environment, specifically how anthropogenic or natural disturbances influence physiology, behavior, and evolution of vertebrate species. My goal is to refine my research skills so that in the future I eventually provide a similar foundation of research opportunities for aspiring students in the field.

RESEARCH
  • Physiological ecology – performance and thermoregulation
  • Wildlife responses to anthropogenic disturbance
  • Ecomorphology
  • Parasite and host interactions
